We are thrilled to have the most talented Abbey Meyer join our team as a certified midwife in Pueblo!

Abbey is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, but she’s proud to call Colorado her home now. She got her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. After completing her undergraduate degree, she pursued a Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. 

She worked as a delivery and labor nurse for over five years before getting certified as a midwife and has extensive experience in hospital and out-of-hospital settings. Her passion for empowering and educating women about their pregnancy began during these five years. Abbey is very dedicated and provides compassionate care to patients during pregnancy, labor, and delivery. She became a midwife out of a sincere passion for the midwifery care model. 

Abbey has a great personality and is very pleasant to be around, both at work and outside her job. She has excellent communication skills, which help her connect with others very well. She loves her family and friends and enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling, and reading books.
